Pixel Bench is free to use and provided without warranty of any kind. The tools are offered as-is and as-available, with no guarantee that they are fit for any particular purpose, that they will produce a file some third party will accept, or that they will remain available.
Keep your originals
These tools produce new files; they never modify the file you opened. Even so, keep your originals. Compression and format conversion discard information permanently, and no tool here can reverse that. Do not use this site as the only place a version of an image exists — it stores nothing, so there is nothing to recover from.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joseph Lawrence is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site, including lost or degraded image data, a file rejected by a system you needed it accepted by, or a deadline missed. Your use of these tools is at your own risk.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to process material you have no right to process, and do not attempt to disrupt it for other people. Because processing happens entirely on your own device, what you open in these tools is your responsibility alone.
Intellectual property
You keep all rights in the images you open. No licence in your files is granted to anyone here, and none could be exercised in any case, since the files are never transmitted. The site's own text, design and code remain the property of Joseph Lawrence.
Advertising and third-party links
Pages carry display advertising and occasionally link to external documentation. Advertisers and linked sites are not under this site's control, and their content is not endorsed by it.
Changes
These terms may change. The date above changes with them, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
